Algae are vital to the lake. They probably trap more solar energy than all the other lake plants. This powers the lake ecosystem. But if we give algae extra nutrients and extra warmth, their growth can be excessive.

SEPTIC SYSTEM TECHNICAL ADVICE

The Ontario Wastewater Association (OOWA) (www.oowa.org) provides training and education for septic system installers who are licensed by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and hold a Building Code Identification Number (BCIN). OOWA requires installer-members to meet certain standards. These are professionals who are informed and up-to-date on all aspects of onsite wastewater requirements, both residential and commercial.
